St George Neighbourhood Partnership

We have set-up a local Neighbourhood Partnership, with a steering group comprising of councillors, agencies and residents - all working together to achieve a common vision. We organise 4 Neighbourhood Forum meetings per year across the Neighbourhood Partnership area and have produced an action plan to tackle priorities set-up by local residents.

Neighbourhood Partnership and Forum Meetings

Neighbourhood Partnership meetings and Forum meetings work together to progress the issues raised in each Neighbourhood Partnership. If you have any suggestions about how the forums should be run or things you would like to discuss, please .

Traffic Schemes

Representatives from all the Neighbourhood Partnerships met to discuss the devolved traffic funds and how this is progressing. A summary of the findings from the meeting can be viewed here.

St. George Wheel Park Project

Wheelscape and a core group of wheel park users have now completed the design of some exciting new features, including a quarter pipe with flat bank hips, jump box & volcano combo, double pump bump and grind box combo!

See the attached pdf plan showing the new proposals superimposed on an aerial photo and a 3D image of the proposals in the context of the existing site.

Demolition of the existing concrete feature to be replaced will take place on Monday 8th October and should take about 3 days. The demolition site will be tarmaced over.

The construction of the new features is planned to take commence later in October.
