Bristol: a Green Capital

This is a city-wide initiative to involve local organisations in Bristol's bid to be a leading green capital: a low carbon city with a high quality of life.

Bristol already has a strong international reputation as a green capital based on the quality of our open space, the commitment of residents to greener lifestyles and teh expertise of many organisations based here - The Soil Association, BBC Natural History Unit, Sustrans, the Community Recycling Network, the Environment Agency and many more.

But we all need to do more if we are to support a shift in our communities and economy towards a low carbon future.

Find out more about the initiative and how your organisation can join in and take the Green Capital pledge.
