The most recent results from the 2007 survey can be seen here, in related documents along with the results from the last three years, (2005 to 2007). This survey results tool contains macro automation and is best viewed by saving to your own computer rather than viewing through the browser. As it contains three years of data for many indicators it is able to show trends.
About the survey
The annual Quality of Life in your Neighbourhood survey is a tool to collect perceptions and opinions from several thousand Bristol residents every year. These residents are randomly selected from the electoral register for this voluntary postal survey.
The survey asks questions about residents' local neighbourhood, their lifestyle, health and personal details, including ethnicity and postcode of their home address. Within the survey, key questions are asked each year in the same way, so trends over the years can be monitored.
Survey question responses can be analysed by topic, by demographic group and by geographic area: ward, neighbourhood renewal area and super output area. Results provide evidence for service managers and partners and can help demonstrate progress and impact of policies and initiatives to improve quality of life.
