Executive Board
The Executive Board is responsible for setting the vision for the City: the Bristol 20:20 Plan and for ensuring that the 20:20 Plan is delivered, and makes a difference to our people and communities. It also looks to the future, to anticipate up and coming agendas, and importantly, works to create 'added value' and collaboration across all the Partnership Boards - so that the sum is greater than the parts. The Executive Board is not, of itself, a delivery mechanism but works to facilitate joint working and innovation.
The Executive Board meets four times a year. Its membership is drawn from the public agencies, the private sector, the universities and colleges, the voluntary and community sector and the Chairs of the Partnership Boards. It also works with the West of England Partnership, to ensure that actions that are best taken at a sub-regional level properly reflect the priorities for the city and benefit Bristol.
