Children and Young People’s Workforce Strategy

The Children and Young People’s Plan is underpinned by a Workforce Strategy which is owned by the Children and Young People’s Trust. The purpose of the Strategy is to ensure that the Children’s workforce in Bristol has the capacity and capability to improve children’s well-being and to embed a culture of integrated working – including through opportunities for co-location of frontline staff.

 

The workforce strategy for 2006-09 is available here . The new updated strategy for 2010-14 will be available on this site soon.

 

The Children and Young People’s Trust also has a key role in promoting the integrated processes which support collaboration and professional understanding between services. These include the Common Assessment Framework (a holistic assessment which supports early intervention), and the role of the lead professional. Details on these are to be found under the Multi-Agency Working Arrangements.
